Most beautiful Cherry Blossom Tattoo I've ever seen!
I like the simple beauty (not too complicated flowers) and that the branches are so sublte. It looks really smooth (I really don't know how to explain it...). I thought about getting cherry blossoms quite like that but on the side of my upper body (part between back and belly... dunno how that body-part is called ?). But I really want to be sure that it means something to me so that I won't regret it later. Maybe with adding a small japanese sign But nothing sure yet.
Hi! First of all - this is something I could use as a base for my concept. Don't worry I won't copy your tattoo i've just started to think of cherry blossom in a different way. And questions: How long does it take foot to heal? Were you be able to walk all day in heavy shoes?
Sure, I don't mind you using it as the basis for your own design. For me, tattoos seem to heal on the outside in about 5-7 days and this one wasn't bad at all because it is small. (They say it takes another week for the inside of it to heal but during that time it's barely sore). I wore shoes that didn't rub on it, though, and didn't wear hose or anything like that. The red petals will peel after about a week, but other than that, the healing process isn't bad. I didn't have much soreness at all.
Hmmm...I would just ask a tattoo artist. It depends on whether you will be wearing heavy socks all the time I guess---but I kind of think it might be okay anyways. The main thing is keeping it clean and making sure it doesn't dry out---keeping it moisturized with Vit A & D ointment 24-7 for the first week.
Yeah, I think that it's hard to get what you want with tattoos without seeming totally similar to someone else. It's kinda hard to be original with a thing that a lot of other people have like flowers, stars, and quotes. But maybe it's a lot easier than I think, idk.
I think you are right....you have to look around a lot (which is why it literally took me years to actually get a tattoo). And, it seems like you have a tattoo artist who really listens & works with you.
yeah. I can never decide what I'd get if I could stand the pain and wouldn't be totally disowned by my mother. I have a bunch of ideas, but I don't think I'd ever be able to go through with them. Well you made a lovely final choice.
You know, depending on where you get it...your Mom wouldn't have to know! Ha My sis did it that way by getting hers on her lower back.
I would say~~go with something that has a lot of meaning for you. I picked the cherry blossoms because they represent feminine beauty and also how short life is. I also have a skull on my back, which is for my love of Dia de los Muertos & because I teach Anatomy.
YEAH!! I would LOVE to get a tattoo for my college major or like my scientific section, I can't think of the actual word for those ugh. Anyway I would LOVE to be a botanist and stuff so OH that's the word, occupational. I would love to get an occupational or college major tattoo. I read this blog that posts scientific and mathematical tattoos and I think that one that would never get old for me would be one like that. I totally dig that kind of tattoo <3
That's awesome....I love to find plp around here who have a scientific 'bent' ! Ha So yeah, that would be awesome, to get a tattoo that makes reference to it. I agree with you...you'll never regret that you got it.
Thanks so much. You know, some people actually like the pain...who knows, you might be one of them! I really didn't find it much different than getting the one on my back. Keep in mind, though, you can always take some aspirin beforehand and eat something heavy about 20 minutes before too.
I added some Kanji, added more blossoms, added some 'centers' to the blossoms, touched up the branch here and there, and got right of all the hot pink and replaced it with a deeper colour. I'll have some pics up later tonight!
